What comes around goes around. New biz sometimes comes across old bridges.

I’m doing freelance copywriting for my former business partner from back in the early 90s when my hair was thicker and my waist was thinner. So the moral of the story is this: don’t burn those bridges. You may end up crossing them again years later.

His company, Strops Marketing, does good work and seems to be weathering the recesssion. Although at the risk of burning a bridge, his parking lot does seem to be a bit empty.

I am also freelancing for another excellent agency, True Creek in Alexandria, VA, run by a former co-worker of mine. (his blog, Stream of Consciousness is on my blogroll).

So thanks to them, and others, I am busy writing to the point of carpal tunnel syndrome.
