Sometimes, advertisers’ commercials go viral by accident. Such was the case of Denny’s Nannerpuss a few months back. It ended up on YouTube and in countless forums.
Sometimes the quest for a viral video doesn’t always go well for advertisers. They carefully plan a viral video production in the hopes of garnering free publicity worldwide. But in the end, it’s up to individual web surfers who ask themselves, “is this something I want my friends to see?”
I think, ultimately, that the best viral videos happen quite by accident – much like a quickly spreading forest fire.
