Believe it or not, there are people out there, often in third-world countries, who will write your content for as little as $5 per article.
Sounds good so far. The problem is often this: English is not their first language – and it shows.
Take this horrendously mangled snippet I found – and I quote:
“When we are seeking for present benefit for your website, there is a sort of promotion package which gets we excited. It offers present bona fide trade to your site. Will we pass it up?”
Huh? Not exactly the type of image you want to portray. Check out the entire badly mangled $5 article

I would make sure if you outsource that, you make sure that you are getting unique content and not duplicate content. That could really hurt your site in the search engine rankings.
