I don’t see what’s the big deal here. Rock and Roll Part 2 is a legendary British rock song. I don’t think they realized that it was done by a convicted sex offender. Why the hell is Michael Jackson so loved and adored today when he had a history of loving the kids a little too much?

Gerry, I don’t think Rooms to Go realized they were using a song by a convicted pedophile. I think, as the author of this post said, they failed to do research. I had no idea that the singer was a pedophile until I read this post, but I am very glad to know that his song has been banned from stadiums and I hope that Rooms to Go will stop playing it in their commercials.

Hey Rooms to go. I cant stand your use of the word “SMART”. You are not smart, people wont become smarter by buying your furniture and I will not shop in your stores. Just keep selling your stuff and stop insulting me by using words like smart, streetwise, etc.

It is unbelievable that a Co like RTG could knowingly use a song sung by a convicted paedophile to pedal their wares. It is disgusting & totally wrong. It is shameful & if I was a stock holder I’d want the CEO to resign.
RTG disgust me & their lack of judgement is crass & beyond belief. If they thought this choice of music was appropriate then they should think again.
This is a cheap & particularly nasty piece of advertising & I truly hope it backfires on this Co who obviously have lost their moral compass. Shame on you RTG. I will certainly not be shopping at any of your stores.
